* To pronounce my last name, say this quickly: Cause-Itch-Cove. For aficionados: my 'real' name is Лев Александрович Козачков (Hebrew: אריה-לייב).
I run the Dynamic Intelligence Lab at Brown University. We work on understanding dynamics, control, and computation in natural and artificial systems.
Previously, I was the 2024–2025 Goldstine Postdoctoral Fellow in the Mathematics of Computation Department at IBM Research. Before that, I completed my PhD at MIT in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences (thesis). Finally, way back in ancient prehistory, I majored in physics and minored in mathematics at Rutgers University in my hometown of New Jersey.
